We are pleased to announce the 2014 NCC members' only Doubles 6 Wicket Club Hi-Lo Tournament on March 29-30, 2014. This tournament will be open only to members of the NCC. The format will be American Rules with 75 minute games. Teams will consist of two members. Teams will be determined by total handicap. The lowest handicap player will be paired with the highest handicap player. The second lowest handicap player will be paired with the next highest handicap player and so forth.
There will be a Championship flight, first flight or more depending on the number of participants. Flight selections will be determined by the total handicap of the team. Depending on the number of entrants, flights will consist of blocks of either four or five teams. Four games or less will be scheduled on Saturday March 29th to determine those teams advancing to the play offs and finals on Sunday.
Social amenities will consist of a cocktails ( 2 free drink tickets) during Happy Hour 5-7 on Friday night to preview the flights and scheduled games, continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings, and a buffet lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
We are looking forward to hosting this tournament for our members. This tournament is designed as a social tournament allowing members to partner and meet other members who love and enjoy playing the game of croquet.
