Four-Back Games
2 flight
The purpose is to give players some practice in playing a rover game, in a format that virtually guarantees that every game is won with a peg-out.
THIS VERSION OF FOUR-BACK...
* is for single-banked doubles play. Choose your partner or be assigned one.
* will be preceded at 9:00 AM by a half-hour Q&A on rover play and last-deadness.
* will commence at 9:30 with three periods of play before a 12:30 lunch break
and continue at 1:30 for as many periods as are needed to complete the blocks
* begins normally at Hoop #1 and proceeds to four-back and to the peg.
* allows a full hour for each round-robin game, so we expect all the games
to go to the peg, with time left over.
* will use no clock, so there will be plenty of time for players to deliberate
or to ask the directors questions about rover and last-deadness rules
* has two flights of play divided in the middle, for players handicapped 4 through 12
If you're handicapped four or above, we hope you can play.
starting 9 am
using 6 courts.
