The Croquet Hall of Fame Gala Dinner Dance and Induction Celebration will be on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the beautiful Charles P. Steuber National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, FL. (see www.croquetnational.com).

This will be a fun, festive-attire (black-tie-optional) event honoring and inducting two individuals to the United States Croquet Hall of Fame. We begin with cocktails and dinner, then the induction ceremony and on to dancing the night away to great live music. Topping things off will be a high-end auction of unique items.

This year's inductees are W. David McCoy and Ervand M. Peterson, PhD. Both of these individuals generously devoted great amounts of their time and resources to support and promote the sport, as well as participating at the highest level of over many years… and still do. We are alldeeply in their debt. Their accomplishments are too numerous to list here, but the highlights of their achievements and contributions are in the latest edition of the United States Croquet Association’s Croquet News" magazine and attached for your ready reference.

Attached is the invitation to the event with details and a reply card. Please come and help us honor these worthy inductees for all they have done for our sport. Tickets for the gala dinner dance are just $150 for players in the USCA Seniors & Masters Tournament and $200 for non-playing USCA members. Prices for tables and non-USCA members can be found in the attached invitation.

Please be a Sponsor! Ticket prices are kept deliberately low to encourage maximum attendance, so Sponsors are absolutely essential to the success of this fundraiser. The form to help is attached.

Don't forget to place a congratulatory message in the Souvenir Program, to let the honoree(s) know personally that you appreciate all that they have done for croquet.

To do your part, please return the attached reply forms as soon as possible. All Sponsors and Journal Messages meeting the October 1 deadline will be featured in the program. Your participation not only honors the inductees, it provides essential funding for the CFA and its charitable and promotional programs, including support for the National Croquet Center.  For questions, please contact Ruth Summers at Beachtwobeach@yahoo.com , or call Bobbi Segal at (561) 478-2300 Ext. 6.

Sincerely,

Cynthia & Mike Gibbons
